In times of uncertainty we are desperate to fill the void with something tangible. Unfortunately what usually fills the vacuum in the early stages of, oh let’s say a global pandemic, are a lot of opinions, anecdotes and outright falsehoods.The internet doesn’t help. There is no evidence that NSAIDS are dangerous in patients with COVID
This myth comes from a single opinion piece in the Lancet. Which shows the dangers of pondering an unfounded hypothesis in the middle of a crisis.

There are currently no known evidence-based or approved medicines to treat COVID. That goes for all antibiotics, hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine, Lopinavir-ritonavir, Tamiflu…You get the idea. There are definitely case reports of deaths attributed to some of these medication.
